Remove the thorns

Strategic leaders often focus on the big issues – the strategy, the results, the impact…as they should.


But sometimes it’s not the big things that are impacting your teams’ performance, engagement and efficiency.

Sometimes it pays go to get granular, to create action.

Ask your people questions like:

⏹ What’s one small thing that gets in the way?

⏹ If you could wave a magic wand, what's the one thing you would change?

⏹ What's one thing that would make your life easier?

If you can reveal and remove some obstacles, you can make an immediate difference to the quality of the employee experience and their ability to get stuff done.

You'll also be demonstrating that you’re listening and taking action.

Win-win.
